What is PROMPT ENGINEERING?

Prompt engineering involves identifying inputs that produce desirable or useful outcomes. Given the way Large Language Models such as GPT are trained and the data they are trained on, certain prompt formats tend to be more effective.
Techniques
Chain-of-thought prompting (CoT) improves the reasoning ability of LLMs by prompting them to generate a series of intermediate steps that lead to the final answer of a multi-step problem.[10] The technique was first proposed by Googleresearchers in 2022.
Text to image Machine learning (ML) models like DALL-E 2, Stable Diffusion, and Midjourney take text prompts as input and use them to generate images, which introduced a new category of prompt engineering related to text-to-imageprompting.
